The 2024 Awards of Excellence contest is open. The deadline for all entries is Friday, January 10th, 2025 with payments due the following Monday, January 13th, 2025. The 2024 Call for Entries is linked below, along with additional helpful links. Categories remain the same and you can find all of the rules, categories and entry prices in the Call for Entries. Please login early and make sure your account is working properly.
PRO TIP: Submit one entry early, so you don’t run into problems near deadline.
If you have an existing Entries Express account, you will receive an email with instructions for logging in (check your SPAM folder). If you have never had an Entries Express account, use the link below and follow the instructions for creating an account.
A couple of tips…
- Once you approve an entry you CANNOT delete it. Don’t submit an entry until you’re absolutely certain the information and the audio/video is correct and complete. You will have to email the CBA office to have an entry deleted to avoid being charged for the entry.
- Pay for all of your entries with a single payment. Submit entries at your own pace and pay for your entire cart all at one time. We understand the need to use different credit cards, but avoid paying for each entry individually. Entries Express provides an online shopping cart, entries collect in your account’s cart until you or your Admin are ready to make payment.
Once the contest closes, entries will be distributed to broadcaster judging panels, nationwide. After the judging is completed, station managers will be notified, initially, of recognized entries (Awards of Excellence and Certificates of Merit). Entries Express entrants will receive general notifications following the certification of winners.
FREE ENTRIES – SPECIALTY CATEGORIES
Don’t forget to submit deserving broadcasters for the Rex Howell Broadcaster of the Year and Harry W. Hoth Public Service Awards. These entries are free and simply require a nomination letter, outlining the nominees contributions to the Colorado broadcast industry. More details can be found in the Call for Entries.
We’re also excited to invite Colorado’s Future Broadcasters, students involved in high school or college radio and television, to enter our Future Broadcasters category, at no charge.
The CBA is here to help with questions as you begin the entry process. Keep checking the CBA’s website and make sure you’re signed up for the CBA’s newsletter and CBA Text Alerts for updates.
Good Luck!
