August 12, 2024 – The Colorado Broadcasters Association (CBA) is thrilled to announce the addition of Luke Story as Vice President, Member Services. With an esteemed career in both broadcasting and state broadcast association leadership, Luke brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and passion for the industry to this pivotal role. In his new role at the CBA, Luke will identify new benefits and services for members, provide an added voice to the CBA’s advocacy work, while working closely with President & CEO Justin Sasso and the CBA’s Board of Directors on long term goals for the association and the broadcast industry.

Joining this distinguished group is an exciting opportunity, and I am eager to contribute to advancing a mission that has already seen remarkable success. I look forward to meeting the members and supporters of the association and working together to further our shared goals.”

I’ve known Luke, personally and professionally, for several years and have admired his passion and accomplishments for the industry. I could not be more excited to welcome Luke to Colorado. Luke began his broadcasting career as a news and sports reporter in Georgia, where he worked at WSB-TV/Atlanta, WNEG-TV/Toccoa, WCON/Cornelia and WDUN/Gainesville. Luke also spent time at Georgia Public Radio. Luke’s association history includes serving as the Director of Communications for the Georgia Association of Broadcasters, and most recently, CEO of the Arkansas Broadcasters Association. He has served on multiple National State Broadcast Association industry committees, including the Emergency Alert System Committee. Additionally, he has led and served on many nonprofit boards in his community. Luke officially joined the CBA on Monday, August 5th.

The CBA has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars for continuing education scholarships and fights diligently, on behalf of the media, for open records, access to the courts and government transparency.
