The Colorado Broadcasters Association mourn the passing of Rolland Johnson, owner and CEO of Three Eagles Communications who passed away on September 17.
Rolland began his radio career in 1961 as a part-time announcer and over the course of his career, went on to form two different companies that owned radio and TV stations across the upper Midwest. He moved to Monument, Colorado in 1994 and began Three Eagles Communications. Just last month he sold his last remaining station cluster in Colorado.
Nationally, he served on the NAB Board of Directors and was an Executive Committee Member and Board Member at the RAB.
