Colorado voters approved the paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) program in 2020. FAMLI ensures Colorado workers have access to paid leave to take care of themselves or their family during life circumstances that pull them away from their jobs, so workers don’t have to choose between earning a paycheck and taking care of their families.

CBA Joins with Other State Associations in FCC Reply Comments Regarding AI Disclosure |
The CBA continues to push back against the FCC’s proposed political AI disclosure rules, along with all fifty of the state broadcast associations. Together, we argue that the FCC lacks the legal authority to implement these regulations, calling the proposed rules impractical and legally flawed.
The state associations argue that focusing on the presence of AI in political ads, regardless of its use, is a misguided approach. The collective filing urges the FCC to drop the proposed rules entirely.
The strong opposition from the state broadcast associations highlights the challenges in balancing AI regulation with practical broadcasting operations.
