CBA Virtual Job Fair

The CBA will facilitate a Virtual Job Fair the week of February 3.

Virtual Job Fairs fulfill the FCC option of participating in “at least four job fairs” during a 2-year period. By participating in four virtual job fairs within a 2-year period, a station fulfills one requirement of the third prong (supplemental efforts) of the FCC’s Options Menu.

The 2024 Awards of Excellence competition heats up as we move into the judging phase! An impressive 933 entries were submitted, showcasing the incredible talent and dedication of Colorado broadcasters.

Volunteer judges from across the nation are now meticulously reviewing each entry, evaluating them based on content, creativity, execution, and production value. Judging will wrap up by early March, so stay tuned for updates!

CBA Scholarship Empowers KCME-FM Staff

Congratulations to Stephanie of KCME-FM, who has been nominated and accepted for the Colorado Springs Leadership Institute program. Thanks to a $1,000 scholarship from the CBA's Broadcast Education & Development fund, she will be able to attend the program with a significant cost reduction.

Stephanie shared, "Receiving a scholarship from CBA makes it possible for me to participate in this transformative and highly competitive program while remaining a responsible steward of our organization’s funds. I am confident that the knowledge and skills gained will not only strengthen my leadership but also empower me to drive measurable results for KCME and the communities we serve. The Colorado Department of Treasury is rotating two messages to help Coloradans save for their future and find unclaimed property in 2025. Colorado SecureSavings is a retirement savings program. The Great Colorado Payback is responsible for reuniting Coloradans with their lost or forgotten assets.

This is a radio and television campaign with English and Spanish messaging.

Colorado voters approved the paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) program in 2020. FAMLI ensures Colorado workers have access to paid leave to take care of themselves or their family during life circumstances that pull them away from their jobs, so workers don’t have to choose between earning a paycheck and taking care of their families. This is a Radio campaign only.
