The application window for the CBA’s 2025 Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program (ABIP) is closing March 31st.
While the FCC is talking about deregulation, they are also making it clear that enforcement will remain a priority.
The ABIP Advantage:
* Receive a thorough compliance review conducted by experienced ABIP Inspector and Broadcast Engineer, Chris Daniel.
* Identify and address potential issues before the FCC discovers them.
* Gain peace of mind, certified stations will not be “pop” inspected by the FCC for 3 years following certification.
Applications are due March 31st, 2025.
The Colorado Broadcasters Association launches the CBA Hall of Fame, a prestigious new initiative honoring the titans of Colorado broadcasting.
The CBA Hall of Fame recognizes Colorado broadcasters whose contributions have made a lasting impression on their industry, their community, and their audiences. From iconic on-air talents to visionary leaders and those behind-the-scenes innovators, these inductees represent the very best of Colorado broadcasting.
Proceeds from the CBA Hall of Fame will go directly to the CBA Broadcast Education and Development Fund, helping to support and inspire the next generation of broadcasting professionals.

Bridging Distances: KDUR's Lainie Heads to PMDMC with CBA Scholarship
Congratulations to Lainie of KDUR-FM, who was awarded $500 from the CBA's Broadcast Education & Development scholarship fund to attend the Public Media Development and Marketing Conference.
Lainie noted, "KDUR is located in Durango, a small community where traveling a considerable distance to attend conferences and other professional enrichment opportunities can be cost prohibitive and I am grateful to The Colorado Broadcasters Association for their scholarship to attend the PMDMC in July 2025 being held in Philadelphia.
